We had a pleasant stay at the Park Ridge Marriott over this last weekend -- we were in town for a wedding. The wedding rate was reasonable. Very comfortable room. The location was mixed - I'm not a great fan of a corporate office park, but there are some stands of woods around, and access to the Garden State Parkway... more

This is a big, old style, glitzy marriott, replete with indoor/outdoor pool, atrium restaurant and glass covered walkways. We were happy to have our dogs welcomed and the desk even put us in a quiet wing far away from some really noisy guests. The hotel is well off the Parkway in a nice landscaped office park, and each room has... more

My stay was for two nights, whilst on a business trip. The hotel is situated quite near the expressway in Northern NJ, about 30 minutes from Newark. The surrounding area has little to offer, but i can't imagine that many holidaymakers will find themselves in this area. My room was on the 3rd floor, which looked like it had undergone... more

Kids were running through the halls, banging on doors, late at night--I called security--kids continued their behavior. In the morning, I saw a tampon was pasted onto the door---I spoke to the front desk--they said the tampon would be removed. 5 hours later, it was still there and I walked the security agent to the door who then had it... more

I stayed in this hotel during a wedding in April. Overall I felt that the hotel was nice the rooms were recently renovated. The did a nice job with the hotel, but definitely not what you would see if you went to a similar hotel in a larger city. The hotel appeared to be in the middle of nowhere, so... more

Worst Experience ever‎ One week stay in this Hotel: Old Equipment, no microwave, no mini-bar, unable to open a window for fresh air, poor shower with no waterpressure, roomdoor only to open with pure body power (slam into it), dark rooms and lack of light. I got depressed in my room, too soft matresses causing back pain, etc. Dirty TV... more

I attended a wedding this past weekend. During the day, the housekeeping staff cleaned out the room as if we had checked out--which we didn't! Thus, all our incidentals were taken as was, most importantly, the refridgerator I had requested since I am nursing and pumping. I timed to be back at the hotel between the service and the reception.... more

The "Park Ridge Marriott" sounds upscale and inviting; however, it is in ways dated and the front desk concierge was not attentive or mindful. We stayed at the Park Ridge Marriott as part of a wedding group in August 2008. As you are driving to the hotel, you are in the middle of a large corporate park. You will find... more

Our stay at the Marriott in Park Ridge was lovely. The hotel is clean, the common areas where fresh and up to date. Our bed was great and the entire staff was just so pleasant. We were in need of a cold remedy after midnight and the staff managed to come to the rescue. It was so nice to come... more

I stayed at the Park Ridge Marriott December 29th and 30th. I was in a wedding nearby and the bride got us a rate of $129/night. The Marriott was clean and renovated although the building style felt sort of 70's. King room was very comfortable although not very big and the bed was heaven. Check in was super quick which... more
