Worst experience EVER!!! We checked three nice hotels on Black Horse turnpike first and none had vacancies so we jumped at the first motel with a vacancy. BIG MISTAKE. We did a google search when we got home and found a 2007 NYTimes article about the discovery behind the motel of the dead bodies of four prostitutes. Before I even knew of this, the place gave me the heebie-jeebies. I slept on top of the sheets with my clothes on and wouldn't even take a shower in the morning lest my bare feet touch the disgusting rug or bathroom floor. And then some guy came knocking on our door at 6am in the morning looking for someone named Michael. Through the door I said '"there's no one here by that name" to which he said "he's light skinned", as if he thought I was probably a hooker and maybe didn't even know the name of the guy who might be occupying the room with me, so he was giving me another way to identify the person he was looking for.
