I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was spotless when we checked in and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The room had a nice size bathroom and also had a small fridge for storing beverages, etc. We were there during the Thanksgiving holiday, so did not spend too much time at the hotel. It was serviced well every... more

It was the right location for a wedding reception we were attending but the rooms were very small and the bathroom extremely small and old. Lots of odd noises all night, not sure if it was they heat or refrigerator. Very old and not updated. The staff is very slow upon check-in and they are hard to understand. My husbands back... more

A group of us rented a couple of rooms this weekend and were very happy. The rooms were clean, staff very nice, beds comfortable and very reasonable. Plus there is a restaurant a block (Four Winds) away that we walked to that had live music. more

I was a little nervous about booking after reading the reviews but only needed a one night stay and didn't want to pay the prices charged at the larger hotels just for a few hours of sleep. I was pleasantly surpised. The room was very clean, the furnishings were comfortable and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. When I... more

Hotels in this area are very expensive, and so this was a good option, given the prices. The rooms were a little tired and dingy and were what I would expect off the beaten path in some small town. Glad I didn't pay full price. On the positive side, staff were very friendly and there was a nice little continental... more

I had read the reviews before going so I was prepared (literally - I brought my own sheet to burrito-wrap myself in). While many of the more recent reviews are pretty accurate, I think a lot of the "filth" (at least what I saw) was really just wear-and-tear. The sheets and towels were of horrible quality but did appear clean.... more

I was told to book here because my Dad was getting remarried and my whole family was going to be staying here. Basically, it was the easiest solution to having everyone in the same place. From the time that I was trying to book the hotel, I was having difficulty. The people who work there don't speak english very well... more

I have stayed at this motel a few times over the past several years and always had a good experience. Not this past weekend though -towels that feel like sandpaper, a musty smell in the room and we paid full price and ended up with a cubbyhole. It was the only room there with only one window and a tv... more

As always it is the comfort of our guests which is our primary concern. We were not aware of any issues with this particular guests stay and each of us had seen and said hello each day.

We stayed at the Sea Girt Lodge for a wedding in the area, and while it served it's purpose of a place to sleep, I would not stay there again. The negatives seemed to far out-weigh the positives, and they were: - The first room we were given smelled like urine / a public bathroom, I asked for a different... more
