Stayed at the Red Roof for 3 nights for a trip to NYC. We decided to take the #320 bus instead and drove to a parking lot about 10 minutes away, because the bus outside the hotel did not have times all during the day. We stayed at Red Roof Meadowlands for 3 nights and were satisfied considering how much we payed. Again, the hotel meets the standard if you are looking for clean linens and shower at the end of a long day in NYC. Good place to sleep and wake up and have a coffee(free) and cigarette while looking out at the river. This is a no frills, basic room, with clean sheets and bathroom. Basic cable, no extras.......but.....calculate the $100-200 per night saved, (3nights we stayed) $125 for parking in Manhattan (3 1/2 days), and it became easier to walk 8 minutes for the NJ bus to Manhattan.
