Have just had a 7 night stay and the Red Roof Inn, and in my opinion this hotel is an absolute find. I stayed here with a friend and we had no complaints about it whatsoever. It served it's purpose, it was clean, comfortable and had reliable, easy links into New York City. In the past we've paid up to... more

Stayed at the Red Roof for 3 nights for a trip to NYC. We decided to take the #320 bus instead and drove to a parking lot about 10 minutes away, because the bus outside the hotel did not have times all during the day. Our room was nice, especially for the price paid. Beds/Bathroom were clean, no issues there.... more

We stayed at Red Roof Meadowlands for 3 nights and were satisfied considering how much we payed. Again, the hotel meets the standard if you are looking for clean linens and shower at the end of a long day in NYC. We payed about $104 a night plus tax, which is the cheapest that we can get around the area.... more

This is probably the cheapest hotel in the area and you do indeed get what you pay for. Stayed here for 4 nights. On the first night we had some other guests trying to get in our room at 2.30am, scared the living daylights out of me as they had the door open and having a go at the security... more

My advice is :DON'T STAY HERE. I booked a room for two nights at the Red Roach Inn because my friend is a teacher is Dallas, Tx and I was trying to keep our budget low. The first night was 103.99 and the second night 111.99. I requested a clean and quiet room and what we received as a disugsting... more

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Secaucus for 10 nights, with our main touring destination being New York City. This was our third trip to the area and our second time staying in the Secaucus area. Lobby was small but clean. A coffee/cappuccino machine was available. Check-in was a little long with our clerk's computer freezing up. but... more

As a shopaholic i'd always wanted to go to New York shopping. I was staying 5 nights/ 6 days and was totally shocked to see the price of around £1100 to stay in Manhatten. The next best thing was to stay just outside in New Jersey and commute each day. I couldn't fault the hotel at all, it was clean,... more

Good place to sleep and wake up and have a coffee(free) and cigarette while looking out at the river. Aside from that, not much else to say. good location if you plan on attending a Giants or Jets game. also nice and close to the bada bing club from The Sopranos. If you do stay here the real highlight is... more

This is a no frills, basic room, with clean sheets and bathroom. Basic cable, no extras.......but.....calculate the $100-200 per night saved, (3nights we stayed) $125 for parking in Manhattan (3 1/2 days), and it became easier to walk 8 minutes for the NJ bus to Manhattan. (20-40min trip depending on traffic) Staff were NJ friendly and helpful in directing me... more

My family (4 people) stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in August. The hotel is a budget hotel. The price is very reasonable and very good value for $105 US. The front desk staff was efficient. Do not expect anything fancy and if possible, ask for a room with the river view which will be quieter. The only problem... more
