We had to book a place quickly when there was a death in my husband's family. Everyone at the Hewitt Wellington was wonderful. My brother and sister in law and another brother in law stayed in a suite. My husband and I were in Room 14 which was really pretty and looked out at the lake. With the wake and... More

We stayed in a lakeview suite overlooking Spring Lake and St. Catharine's church (which was absolutely gorgeous at night). Even though it rained through most of our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy. Hotel staff is top notch, and the rooms are clean and individually decorated. Close to the beach, the downtown area and the lake, you couldn't... More

We just stayed at the Hewitt Wellington for our wedding with our entire wedding party and close family members. We did a 2 night stay and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff is super accomonodating and Kathy is wonderful. She recently replaced the previous manager and filled his shoes wonderfully. She offered to help with anything we needed and was... More

Everything was amazing except our room had not been dusted in probably 6 months! Very dusty night stands. Also the walls are super thin since it's an old hotel so we heard a lot. Besides that the hotel was fabulous.

On a sunny, pleasant May weekend, we spent two nights in a first floor suite. The hotel has a beautiful view of the lake just across the street, and the large wraparound porch is ideal for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The house is very picturesque from the outside, but we were disappointed by the rather worn and drab... More

We stayed one night while attending a family wedding nearby. We live in monmouth county so I checked it out in person and chose our room. The young woman who assisted me was very pleasant and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room (the least expensive) was a good size with a small fridge which was really appreciated... This is a beautiful hotel. The manager was extremely friendly and the room we stayed in was great. The only issue I had is that the pool is out of commission with no mention of it on the website! We specifically booked the room that had the pool porch so we could have direct access to the pool but arrived... More

I appreciate you taking the time to review your stay with us and I'm so glad that overall you had a nice stay. I do apologize that the pool pavers were being replaced without notification online. As we do have a seasonal pool, it is usually not open until between mid-May and Memorial Day Weekend. Please feel free to contact... More

This was our first time staying at the Hewitt Wellington. Upon arrival, we learned there was an error in our reservation. We had booked through an online third party site that I had never used before and they didn't transfer the correct dates, although my confirmation was correct. Everyone was so accomodating and worked quickly to remedy the situation. They... More

We stayed in Room 6, a room with a view of the Lake and a big, beautiful balcony. The room was cozy with a King Size bed and very quiet. We were attending a wedding at The Breakers and decided on Hewitt Wellington because it offered a Continental Breakfast and was in a beautiful location. Spring Lake is absolutely gorgeous.... More

We stayed in room 28, one of the recently renovated suites, and we loved it. The view of the water is great and the room is beautiful!
