We were pleasantly surprised by all that Wildwood Crest had to offer, what a great beach town! The Blue Marlin is one of many, many little "L-shaped" hotels from the 1950's/60's. The Blue Marlin is a great place to stay. Reasonable rates, clean rooms, quiet, convenient, heated pool and about 100 steps to the beach. Charlie & LInda, the owners are wonderful people and they make sure your stay there is a comfortable and enjoyable one. more

The Blue Marlin takes you back to the time when motels were run as family businesses, offered economical R&R, catered to families and weren't concerned with multi-million dollar razzle dazzle of the mega chain hotels/timeshares of today. This is just the perfect Wildwood motel. It was exactly what we were looking for - older style, excellent service and affordable prices. Located right off the beach in the more peaceful Wildwood Crest with the boardwalk, stores, restaurants... only a short drive away. All we have to say is WOW!!
