We stay at the Adventurer at least once a year due to the Firemens Convention. Since our prior hotel has bugs (!!!), this was a definite improvement. The owners seem to be making an effort as they have added penthouses and refurnished various areas. They added a fitness room in the last two years. That being said, it is just... more

Our entire family had a great time at the Adventurer Inn in Wild Wood Crest NJ. We stayed in a Family suite and had plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children under age 5. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is right at the end of the boardwalk and closeby to everything fun.... more

The hotel is in a good location, that's about it. The rooms were adequate, the room my daughter and her family stayed in had a musty smell from the air conditioner, and they couldn't go on the balcony at times due to a drip from the other floor. Their bathroom did not have a shower head until we complained, but... more

Oceanfront is a misnomer due to the changing tides over the years which have now made this hotel a beachfront. The difference? Distance to walk from hotel, over the sand, to the actual water. About a tenth of a mile. Very very very dated hotel. After reading some reviews that gave this hotel a 5 star rating, I don't know... more

We just returned from an eight night stay in a penthouse suite. We were VERY disappointed in the hotel. The cleaning service was ATROCIOUS-they never wiped down the counters or kitchen table, nor did they wash the bathroom or kitchen floors. We finally took a picture of the DISGUSTING kitchen floor and brought it to the front desk. They sent... more

I visited Adventurer Inn July 18 – July 20 with my husband, 7 year old son and my mother. We stayed in a 2 room suite (1 king bed, 1 queen bed and sofabed in living room) pool side on the 2 floor. This was a great view. You could see the pool, street and the ocean. The room was... more

I stayed at the Adventurer Inn in July with my husband and 3 kids. The hotel looks OK from the outside, but when you get inside the problems begin. First of all I dont like the fact that the only way to get to my room is from the inside. I like to enter from the outside also. It would... more

Where do I start, it was a wonderful vacation. The Adventurer is the most updated hotel in all the Wildwoods, (I would know b/c I've stayed in many dumps because I've vacationed in the Wildwood since the 70's). For the past 10 years I have stayed at the Adventurer and it gets better every year. The rooms are always being... more

Was a good overall hotel. Plenty of parking and located at the beginning of the boardwalk. Room was good size and clean but had a strong mold smell. Sliding door wasn't insulated well and made the wind sound like a hurricane! Also water leaked in the room from the slider. Our roof in the living room area dripped and leaked... more
