First let me say my husband and I are reasonably well travelled around the world and generally stay in 4 to 5 star hotels. I would say we are quite fussy as a couple in respect of what you are getting for your money. I stayed at Cosmos towards the end of November with my husband and two children aged... more

Cosmos Cuisine was highly recommended to us before leaving England. This recommendation was fully justified. Internet booking was simple and the trip to Addo & Schotia were excellent. An added bonus was a trip to a citrus packing station arranged by the proprietors. We found the allocated room to be well appointed, comfortable, and more than enough storage for the luggage... more

We spent wonderful two nights in a very beautiful, quiet and welcoming guesthouse with friendly staff. We especially loved our spacious, well-decorated room with the beautiful bathtub and the lovely refreshing pool in the beautiful gardens. The food was excellent - especially the kudu steaks! more

Stayed 2 nights as we wanted a base for Addo's safaris. Don't fall for the "Welcome Drink". They add it to your bill. Room large but en suite needs updating. Bath and washbasin at one end of bedroom!! Over stuffed with furniture and cushions. Nowhere to put luggage. Barking dogs ( owned by the proprietors) kept us awake. No apology... more

We stayed here whilst visiting the Addo Elephant Park, and it was only 15 minute (approx) easy drive. We really enjoyed our two night stay.We had an extremely comfortable ,spacious room, with French windows to a covered patio area with big comfy armchairs, overlooking lovely gardens. The staff were so helpful and efficient, nothing was too much trouble, even the car... more

We have just come back from South Africa and stayed at Cosmos Cuisine for the first two nights. We had an enormous family suite as we travelled with our 15 year old daughter. In front of the interconnecting rooms was a very pleasant and large patio. The rooms were stocked with lots of extras. We had a very pleasant meal... more

Stayed in the 'honeymoon suite' for three nights. The room was enormous and contained every conceivable item of furniture and equipment that could possibly be needed (except for the odd omission of a toilet brush?). There was some noise from the road outside, although at night there was not much traffic and any noise was largely cancelled out by the... more

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Cosmos Cuisine. From the moment Brandon, the manager, greeted us until our departure everything was perfect. Elzona and Lemien, the owners, and Philip, Elzona's husband, were gracious hosts. The room was very comfortable and the garden, surrounding the property, was lovely. The food was a highlight. The breakfast was the best we... more

We stayed a couple of days at the Cosmos Cuisine Guesthouse close to the Addo Elephant National Park. This Guesthouse has become the "highlight" of our first visit to South Africa in March 2008. Food and wine is marvellous at reasonable prices, everybody at Cosmos Cuisine is extremly friendly and polite, the rooms are very spacious and clean. The owners... more
