We trusted the reviews here and we were...wrong! The place is nice and the idea of mud huts interesting, but unfortunately the comfort standards were low, especially for the price we paid. We had a lot of small creatures in our bedroom and bathroom, which was awful. Breakfast was average with Hovis-style bread, not up to standard. For those visiting... more

This is a great place to base yourself, if visiting addo elephant park. the owners are friendly and helpful (they remove a rather hairy looking spider from our hut on our first night!). The huts are great fun, situated in and around orange trees. We ate here on both nights and the food was good honest home cooking. A very... more

A very friendly atmosphere. The huts are eco friendly. The meals are exquisite ,served in an African styled hut. Must spend more than one night. If you love outdoor activities Christopher Jn. is an expert canoeist and bird watcher: just contact him for river safaris, mountain safaris and bird watching trips. I will definite come back. more

A nice place to chill out in the centre of Addo. The rooms are quite large and comfortable although a little sparsely decorated, and the bathroom is very small. The social areas are very pleasant - with a few places you can sit and relax, and a nice pool set in the garden. Breakfast was tasty - and was eaten... more

We stayed three nights in January 2009 and the place was lovely and well organised. Lynda and her family good not do enough for her guests. I had an upset stomach one day and she could not help enough and sent drinks to our hut for me. Her father was a lovely man originally from England. The huts were spacious... more

A very friendly family atmosphere! Linda and family look out for your every need. The rooms are upscale, hotel style African mud huts. (The new thatched roof smelled great!) Very lovely décor, my only problem was there was nowhere to unpack and get organized. (There were no TV's, phone or Internet in our hut, but there may be in some... more

We stayed at Chrislin with our 5 month old baby in March and although everywhere we stayed on the Garden Route was lovely, Chrislin was extra special. Accomodation is in individual African style huts, which are beautifully furnished and decorated. Ours was a luxury hut with a fridge, king size bed and a great shower room, there was air conditioning... more

We can certainly agree with all the great comments about Chrislin. We stayed in one of the luxury huts, and spent our day at the Addo Elephant Reserve ..... two of our most memorable South African Adventures! Great value for money, and it was a special moment seeing Linda waving to us as we drove off the next morning ....... more

Tasty breakfasts are served in a nice semi circle african style hut. The owner Linda is a really good host i was glad she recommended that i go on the full day trip with schotia... more

we only stayed one night but it was fantastic. Enjoyed a delicious meal and the huts were great to stay in. Wonderful hosts! We were picked up for the Addo Elephant Back Safari's and were able to leave our car atg the B&B while we were away. We recommend spending more than one night as there's a lot to do! more
