This is a good quality property, one of a number of several similar lodges in the North Drakensberg region. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, food is good, ambience friendly and scenery beautiful. It is very convenient for Royal Natal NP and excellent walking country, but somewhat isolated, being well away from any towns. Definitely no nightlife for many miles! more

We stayed here for 3 nights. The are really great, spacious and comfortable and the fire was really welcome in the winter evernings! The walking trails in the area are great - fantastic views all round. A trip to thetop of the Amphitheatre is a longish drive but really worth it.
