We spent 2 weeks at Rickety Bridge staying in one of the 3 rooms at The Manor House. They also own Basse Provence with 9 more rooms in an adjacent property. The Manor House is an old dutch style residence which has been lovingly maintained and restored, full of beautiful period furniture and fittings (in fact the website doesn't do it justice. The staff managed by Nicky Hahn are pleasant and very friendly going out of their way to meet guests needs. Leoni and Heidi who mainly looked after us during our stay were wonderful. Most gests only stay 1 or 2 nights as they are passing through on the wine route. I would advoocate staying longer and in fact on several nights we were the only guests and felt like lord and lady of the manor....like having your own private house. In fact if there were a group of you you could have the whole house for a party, celebration, even a business meeting.
