Swellendam is a nice small village, but the Klippe Rivier itself is worthwile the stay! We have been in the Hopley Room, one of the upstairs rooms. Really nice and spacious, with a beautiful terrace and a pleasant smell of straw (it is under a thatched roof). The service is super and the restaurant excellent. I would definitely return. more
