During our holiday in South Africa we booked a 2 night stay on an Ostrich farm. We had no idea what to expect but were pleasantly surprised.

A wonderful warm welcome from Anna, Arno, and the dogs Jasper and Oinou (Afikaans for old lady)

We enjoyed the beautiful rooms and most of all the traditional home cooking of Anna and the brie (South african bbq) cooked by Arno. We had two very relaxing evening's chatting and learning Afrikaans, hehe!!

It is also an excellent location to explore the local areas Swellendam, Barrydale, and other lovely places. The Tradouws Pass to Barrydale is a wonderful drive through the gorge. more
