My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. We upgraded to a bure which was lovely. The outdoor bathroom complete with outdoor bath & shower as well as a little pond and lots of shrubbery did it for me-magnificent and very romantic. I was told that the Balinese are very friendly people but unfortunatly the staff at this hotel... more

The Good Points: - 2 storey bungalows that are well separated from each other by lots of plants and trees - it means you don't overlook any one else which was pleasant. - top floors have the day beds, bottom floors have a patio area (covered) - pool area is a good size and is well maintained. Lots of sunbeds... more

We stayed at the Vila Lumbung in the 3 bedroom deluxe villa for a week in late June. While it is rated 3.5*, we feel that is probably 4-5 star by Australian standards. The villa is HUGE with 3 stories (one bedroom on each floor), 2 bathrooms, huge lounge & dining area, and large wrap around patio. It is decorated... more

My wife and I had a week here and were not really impressed with the place , the advertisements really dont show the current look of the place. Overall a bit run down and during our stay there was building work going on which was never advised prior to booking. The front desk lady looked like she had been sucking... more

The upstairs bungalow was lovely- spacious, attractive (high, arched, thatch ceilings), nice bathroom, a large day bed, lots of storage, full length mirror. There was a little problem with the sliding door to the balcony, which was fixed right away. Grounds were lush. Good selection at breakfast. A couple of minutes in a taxi (very cheap) to Seminyak. I will... more

We were her e for 5d/4n and it was such a perfect choice. We wanted to go somewhere quiet and relaxing, The room was clean, the food was not too bad and the landscape was refreshing. There were lots of greens everywhere and everyone was friendly - it was like our very own neighbourhood... more

A great small hotel for families we booked a family bungalow with two kids ages 6 and 3 and it was great, a beautiful outdoor bathroom and a day bed the size of a queen which was made up for the children, a bit out of the way we had a car so could get around easy, good restaruants close... more

This is fantastic traditional styled architecture - we stayed in the deluxe bungalow and it was very spacious. Enormous daybed perfect for lolling around reading with a cold beer. huge comfortable bed, great water pressure in large bathroom. Balcony overlooking the pool. Older style air con - good as not too cold and quiet. Restaurant - excellent food, friendly staff.... more

This was a rare find, lovely hotel with tropical authentic Balinese style villas complete with outdoor bathtub and shower!!! We booked a deluxe bunglow (ground floor), the upstairs does not have the outdoor bathroom, but has lovely high ceilings! Request a bunglow away from the pool, as it can get pretty noisy with the kids. The staff were very nice... more

This is a nice quiet hotel in the northern end of Seminyak. I chose this place as we didn't need to be in the mayhem of Kuta as we only needed somewhere for an afternoon/ night & then a late checkout the following evening. It is in amongst the rice paddies but unfortunately they are gradually being built on and... more
