We found this place by total chance, was expecting the island to be quite expensive but we were actually very positively surprised. A double bungalow with fan and private bathroom goes for 15$ per night, the restaurant is quite reasonably priced too, about 1$ for a bottle of beer, 1,5$ for a plate of fried rice with meat and 7$... Stayed here for 3 nights in a hotelroom with a doublebed with my partner in mid-March 2013, and we would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the following incidents: Cons: - The air condition was sub-par, and I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying it would take a good hour to notice any cool or freshness in the room after... We stayed here for 11 days in a Bungalow with fan no AC. The Bungalow was simple no luxury, the bed was a little to hard. But they cleaned every day and were helpful and friendly. There are free WiFi that works ok. The restaurant at the beach serves great food for any occasion. The location is the best of... More

The English of staff was weak but they knew what you wanted. It's family run, lots of cute kids around. We showed up and booked AC. After 3 of 4 nights they ended up replacing a broken AC unit. They gave us a discount because of this. The location couldn't be better. Wifi was awesome. Rent a moods for $7/day... More

A friend who had arrived at the island a day earlier had sniffed out the Nhat Lan resort and we found it to be perfect for our 5 day stay on Phu Quoc Island. At the end of Long Beach the bungalow rooms are basic but comfortable with two of our group opting for a/c rooms closer to the beach... More

First of all I have to say our trip didn't start great in Phu Quoc. We thought we'd arrive in Phu Quoc early to look around so we didn't make reservation. But the ferry we took from Ha Tien to Phu Quoc was almost 5 hours late (later I learned it happens quite regularly). This late at night the only... More

We stayed 5 nights and had to move bungalows 3 times. Bungalow 19 smelled of damp, had a very bad water pressure in the shower. Located at the rear of the garden, close to reception. Bungalow 21 was ok except for the water leak coming from the roof. There was a massive storm on the second night, and we were... More

I'm staying here for a week. The bungalows are simple but nice and look charming with the thatched roofs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean but won't get cleaned while you stay. But I didn't really mind sweeping the floor daily a bit to keep the sand out. The sunny beachside terrace is a great spot... More

We booked a beach front room and when we arrived, all they had was a bungalow three rows behind the restaurant for $40 per night and wanted another $5 to use the AC.The people beside were only paying $15.The bungalow had ants crawling on the floor and all over the wall in the bathroom. We realize that this is a tropical island... Nhat Lan offers a quiet spot for some beach relaxation and plenty of eating. If you're looking for a budget option, this is your place. Access is down a dirt road with small shops, restaurants and internet cafes and it's a ten minute drive from the town. Basic bungalows line a path through lush gardens full of butterflies and lizards,... More
