Our room was large, but felt dark and dingy. It had a large balcony with a view overlooking the river and city. There was no WiFi. The grounds were well kept and manicured. The food in the restaurant was satisfactory. There were no barking dogs.

The average rooms are plain and basic. The hotel bar is a nice place to relax and offers a great vantage point of the river below. There is nothing interesting about the food and nothing much to say rates this hotel a resort.

Very nice location for this hotel, not far from Punakha (about 30 minute drive) and the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong is very closed, but unfortunately recently destroyed by the fire.
