Stayed in a room one night, and then a cabin for New Year's Eve. Extremely clean, nice fixtures and furniture, lovely, helpful staff, nice atmosphere, good heating control, beds slightly soft. Owner/managers are great and very customer-friendly. Motel is clean, well cared for and convenient. Wi-fi and a small refrigerator are available in the rooms. I would recommend them to anyone visiting Chama.

Reserved for five nights we had to leave after three nights they gave us full credit for the other two nights. The place is very clean and well located.Very nice place and very nice people. Would stay there again in a second!!!

Stayed here for two nights in order to take the Cumbres & Toltec scenic railroad through the mountain country during the changing of the fall leaves. The River Bend Lodge was a fine place to spend a night after a long day. The room was nothing fancy, but it was clean and the property was quiet and well kept. I was riding the train and it was a great location south of town to enjoy a night of rest.

We have been making the pilgrimage to Chama for several years now to ride the train. We always stay in town for three or four days. We have stayed at River Bend twice in three years. The staff was friendly and the cabins were clean. This is our new get away spot to go and relax.If your looking for a place to go and get away, where the people are nice, you need to checkout Chama River Bend Lodge.

Very enjoyable weekend. The staff at the River bend really cares about the property and thier guest. This is not the first we stayed at this property, nor will it be last.
