during my participation at the superb Chama Chile Ski Classic, i was racing and presenting 2 of the 3-day ski event. my stay at the Riverbend was exceptionally quiet, clean, and comfortable. after 2 days of hard nordic ski and snowshoe racing, the secluded hot tub was like heaven. each staff person and owner i met was beyond polite...a true... In a recent trip to Chama to go crosscounty skiing I forgot my boots and my wife forgot her toothpaste. The Person working at the front desk helped us resolve both issues in a friendly professional way. The Chama River Bend Lodge is our favorite place to stay in Chama. We really love the cabins. More

The Chama River Bend Lodge was a great location for a winter long-weekend vacation in Chama, New Mexico. We skied up on Cumbres Pass in the annual Chama Chile Ski Classic over MLK weekend, and it was nice to get home to our warm, clean room and to relax in the hot tub admiring the starry winter sky! The room... More

Very clean rooms. Nice location on the rivers edge. King beds could use better fitted sheets. Great service very friendly and happy staff . Just last day was woken to hammering right outside our room door witch I found to be very rude. Over all happy with my stay More

This place looks better on the internet than it does in person! The room was OK, but showed its age, Carpet was dirty and wrinkled. The fitted sheet and mattress pad would not stay on the bed and kept coming loose during the night. The air conditioner was very noisy. We will stay at another place when we return to... More

Unless you are expecting royalty like luxury, I cant imagine anyone not being perfectly happy here. The staff was very nice and helpful and the romms were spacious. Our room had a bit too much of a deodorizer smell, but as close as we looked around, it wasnt to mask anything inappropriate nor unclean. Do youself a favor and look... More

This is a great place to stop and take in the beauty of Chama. This lodge consists of a motel unit and several cabins which are closer to the river. We stayed in cabin 70 which had a small kitchen and a loft which the boys loved. There is a large grass area with a playground and volleyball net of... More

We had a great time in Chama at the River Bend Lodge. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. River was hard to access as a result of a lot or rain. More

This property has two sections: an older motel and new prefab cabins near the Chama River. The hotel rooms were a little dark and drab; no pictures on the walls. The wood furniture was pretty nice, though. The room was clean. The motel advertises soundproof walls, but we were bothered by a dog next door. When we complained to the... More
