I'm a diva and yet I loved it. Don't let an online picture or a random bad review sway you, for what it is, the Cimarron Inn and RV Park was perfect. Cimarron was not my final destination, we drove twelve hours from Austin and needed a place to crash before heading over the mountains to the Enchanted Circle the... more

I have traveled several times to the Cimarron area and need to stay a week at a time each trip. This was a pleasant experience each time. If you are used to grand hotels this is NOT for you. But, considering the other places in town...it's a nice place to stay more

Our family stayed at the Cimarron Inn and RV Park for 3 nights while visiting our daughter who was working at Philmont. Yes, the motel is older, but it has lots of charm. There are beautiful flowers growing around the establishment. The room (we stayed in the Will James) was extremely clean. We have rarely had such thick, luxurious towels... more

Our troop stayed overnight at the Cimarron Inn. We had the Casita for the 9 boys and the Philmont room for the 3 adults. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the atmosphere created with the rustic decorations and memorabilia was very enjoyable. We had plenty of hot water and towels. The kitchen area in the Casita was very handy... more

The cleanest rooms I have ever seen. Spotless. Fresh smelling as rooms are non-smoking. Had several choices and was permitted to look at the difference sizes to choose my own room. (Now that was a first). Being on a limited income I chose the economy room for $45.00 . The room was as well kept and as homey as the... more

This inn is worn out. The mattresses sagged, the aging carpet smelled strongly of carpet deodorizer. Tree limbs scraped across metal on the roof. If you want to visit Cimarron, I suggest you stay in Clayton, NM. or Red River. more

We just returned from a ski trip to NM and had the best time at the Cimarron Inn. The owners of the Cimarron Inn were wonderful and the room was great! The Cimarron Inn rooms are CLEAN and really charming, good value for the money. We'll be back! We'd had reservations at the Canyon Inn down the street. It was... more

My husband and I stayed here a month ago for one night with a friend and his daughter. We had a large suite with two rooms and kitchenette. There are two sets of bunk beds in the living room, so if you go with a large family you'll have to deal with the inconvenience of not being able to use... more

In 2004 I took three boys - 21, 17, 15 - to Philmont. We stayed in the Cimarron Inn. We had a room with 2 beds in separate areas - almost like 2 rooms. Imagine my surprise when I almost walked into the clothes rack - it was literally made of deer legs!! Of course, the guys in the party... more

I love spending the night at the Cimarron Inn before checking in the next day at the Philmont Training Center. The price is reasonable and the room is always clean. It is an older Inn, but I like the atmosphere of going back in time and it is very appropriate to the Northern New Mexico setting! The owners are very... more
