Nice quiet place to sleep, good rate, then used AAA card and got an additional discount. Beds not too comfy, but clean, nice bathroom. more

Stopped at this hotel while driving from Dallas to Albuquerque. We were very pleased by our spacious and nicely decorated room. The breakfast provided in the morning was a nice touch as well. Front desk staff was courteous. The only downside was that the indoor pool and hot tub were closed which is why I gave it 4 stars instead... more

If you're super-sensitive to night noise and don't like to use ear plugs this isn't the place for you. My husband had no problem sleeping without ear plugs. I don't sleep that well on the road so I'm used to using ear plugs - I'm glad they were provided in the room. We stayed at a brand new Hampton in... more

Have you ever seen the movie "My Cousin Vinny"? I guess when you check into a hotel and they hand you ear plugs, you should take a hint. The train tracks right across the street bring trains through blaring their horns every 15-30 minutes, and run 24 hours a day. The staff, however, was very apologetic and tried to accomodate... more

We had traveled all day so a good nights sleep was required. This hotel provided just that. The property isn't fancy, but was very clean and convienient to food and train watching. We were given ear plugs to help muffle the sounds of trains but they really weren't necessary. We were traveling with my nephews and they enjoyed the pool.... more

Nice clean hotel and room. Good breakfast with pretty good coffee. Room was very comfortable and no complaints. The workout room had a TV and equipment was just okay. The pool looked nice. Trains can be frequent and noisy, so you may have to turn on the fan or wear ear plugs. Parking lot was well lit, but the view... more

We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We checked in at night and the clerk at the desk did not warn us about the trains going all night. Then when we got to the room and got ready to go to bed our sheets were dirty, there was hair and some kind of stains on them (they looked... more

Everything worked. The room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the sound of trains at night, but nearby hotels will have the same problem too. I actually found ear plugs in the room provided for guest use, but I soon found I got used to the sound. The morning breakfast was fine and as advertised. Fruit was available all... more

As usual, I was not disappointed staying at a Hampton. The breakfast area was top notch. The beds were nice as ususal. The girl up front was very nice as was the host @ Bfast. If you are not a sound sleeper, you may want to use the ear plugs the hotel provides you though. THis is due to the... more

This is one of the nicer Hampton Inns I've stayed in. I was not expecting much, since Clovis is a small town and the hotel is at the end of a very ugly commercial strip. But the room was nicely furnished and the bed had a thick comforter--a welcome change from the horrible flimsy blankets usually found in hotels in... more
