The staff was great who checked us in. Very accomodating and willing to make us comfortable. Our first room the a/c did not work. Had intended to stay for one night but stayed a second night. Used to live in Clovis and wanted to see some of it. the property is right across from the RR tracks but noise was not a problem. the room was well maintained, and clean. We found the room comfortably appointed and very clean. The WiFi worked great. The beds were comfortable. Their winter rates were quite reasonable and they accept pets for a small fee. We (my husband and I) were travelling from Canada to Mexico by this route and Clovis was as far as we got that day (November 12th, 2007). We tried to go to another hotel recommended in the AAA guide but it was full and they recommended Econolodge as being similar priced ($49 per night). and with similar amenities. Anyway, we... more
You're better off sleeping in your car! This place is in bad shape. Didn't want to walk on the carpet and was uncomfortable using the bathroom. The continental breakfast was anemic. On the positive side; they allowed pets and the staff was very friendly. more
