I was here about a year ago and if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and being able to hear the river and birds just outside the door was better than good. Loved the baked apple breakfast, and enjoyed talking to the interesting hosts. It's a great place to... More

If you're hoping to get away from the common strip mall atmosphere of Farmington, this is the place to go! The warm wood interior creates a rustic and cozy atmosphere. Yet it's only moments from "old town" Farmington. Diana and David are excellent hosts with a wealth of wisdom, life experiences, and stories. Yes, I'll agree they can suck you... More

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. The pay back for being in the Bed and Breakfast business is the delight we experience when visiting with our guests. Our guests bring the richness of their lives and experiences plus they bring a sense of well being and gratitude for the world in which they live. What a bonus. Both... More

We stayed here for three nights with three friends from the UK. As we left off the main road into Farmington, we immediately felt a lower level of stress from traveling on major highways all day. As we descended into the peaceful riparian site of the Silver River Adobe Inn, we expected to love it, and our expectations were fulfilled.... More

I do love a captive audience seated at the breakfast table to read one paragraph about the heroine, Grey, of Scott Momaday’s book “Ancient Child” on page 16. This paragraph just seems to exude our area; Grey’s childhood home at Lukachukai (one of the most beautiful words I know to roll off the tongue), Grey hoarding bits of both Kiowa... More

What an unexpected find - such a haven in the middle of Farmington's chain hotels and restaurants! David and Diana are gracious, warm hosts, and made me feel right at home from the start. The breakfast was delicious, and the conversations were enlightening - they both know so much about New Mexico's history, especially David. The room was beautiful, albeit... More

If you like quiet surroundings and rustic comfort this is for you. Breakfasts prepared with locally grown ingredients. Good coffeee.Stimulating and informative conversation with both David and Diana. We stayed here in 2010. Would certainly return.

We booked this Bed & Breakfast due to the outstanding reviews we read in advance - we're certainly not fussy but what we found upon arrival slightly differed from former guests experiences. First of all, the rooms - beautiful as they were - had a little ant problem. It appeared to be a permanent, not a temporary problem, as it... More

The insect world presents more than a few dilemmas. We looked high and low to solve the problem of ants who wish, on occasion, to share our home and B&B. It is the goal of our business to not use poisons that would remain and harm our guests by being air born. We believe we have solved this problem. Though... More

The website of the silver adobe inn promises a lot,but what a deception ! The garden was shabby, there were no comfortable places to sit. The room was dark, it smelled dusty, due to the dirty carpet and the heater made a lot of noise. We heard eveything from the adjacent room. There was not much privacy, and the owners were... More

We hope that each guest will find some charm and enjoy what we offer. Two guests staying together wrote tone review each using the same language of disapproval and disappointment. It is obvious that they did not like our B&B, nor my husband nor myself. For that I am greatly sorry for their grief and disappointed. Our carpets are of... More

a dark room with dirty carpets and a noisy airco, and a shabby garden. The host and hostess were too present, but could not give any suggesting for sightseeing. The breakfast was terrible. To expensive for what we got.

Don't try to get there at night! It is almost impossible to find in the dark. The fire station landmark is very obvious during the daytime, but otherwise..... Loved the river side location. Nice to sit outside in the sun and read. Furry slippers provided, good for the concrete floor in the bedroom. Excellent shower head, lovely towels, & good... More

Thank you for your response. We encourage our guest to give us a telephone call if they do end up arriving after dark so that we can either talk them through the directions or come to where they are at the moment and we then guide them in. This is not an issue in the summer but certainly as winter... More

The rooms are in rustic cabins constructed as an extension to an adobe building behind cotton wood trees on the bank of the San Juan river. It is a country setting within the Farmington city limits. Our room was well and tastefully furnished, everything in good order. Our hosts were most charming and helpful, and we enjoyed our breakfast-time conversations.... More

It is our delight to serve visitors with a comfortable place to rest their heads and weary bodies after a day of travel in the southwest Four Corners. Our guests bring us the most delightful stories shared over breakfast and a hot cup of coffee or tea looking out at the San Juan River in this Nature Reserve like area... More
