We had no wifi connection and made the mistake of booking this dump. Everything you have read is true. It's dirty, dangerous and creepy. The big mystery is why Travelodge allow their name to be dicredited by this seriously bad motel. more

We had a job interview in Northern New Mexico which caught us by surprise and we booked this room via cell phone from the road. When we arrived the property looked ok enough from the outside and the desk attendent was nice also, but when we opened the door to the room, we discovered this was an old Motel 6... more

First of all, I am familiar with Farmington so I wasn't exactly expecting a stay in a Manhattan spa. However... We booked through an online service. When we arrived, the reservation was screwed up (not the online service's fault.) The desk clerk had to place a phone call to someone at home to figure out how to correct our booking,... more

We checked in late in the evening and it was the only place in town with a vacancy. We were told the only and last room available was a smoking room, but it had just "recently" been converted to a smoking, and probably had not even been smoked in yet. Well, I guess "recently" meant sometime in the last 10... more

Stayed here only because three other places we stopped in were booked up and we didn't want to pay too much. This is one of the nastiest hotels that I have ever stayed in, and I would recommend spending a bit more and checking with the Hampton Inn or Courtyard for availability instead of trying to save and getting a... more

Run away! Dirty floors, walls, curtains. Greasy (yes, greasy) bedspread and DEAD SPIDERS (2) in bed. Paid for 2 non-smoking queen beds, got one double bed smoking room and front desk couldn't care less. (I wouldn't either, but I had to share it with my 4-year old son who is a bed hog) Woke up next morning to find the... more

We have stayed at this property three times in the past six months to visit family in FMG. It's only getting worse! Mold in the showers, greasy floors, and funky odors. There seems to be a fine layer of scum over everything in the rooms. The heaters sound like a diesel engine, and smell only slightly better. Last time I... more

I wish I'd read other people's reviews BEFORE I stayed here. This was a vile property. Two days later, I still was getting whiffs of the peculiar odor, and when I unpacked my suitcase after arriving home, I smelled it all over again . Add in the filthy bathroom, stained carpet and dirt-streaked window and you'll get the general picture.... more

This motel is by far the worse place I have ever stayed. We were lookingfor 3 things... A pool for the kids, free parking, and a cont. breakfast. The web site said it had a pool (so the kids were excited) but the pool was closed when we got there, with old mattresses and box springs thrown in the pool... more

Stay away from the Travelodge in Farmington, New Mexico. Drive on if it is the only place available. Front desk had no idea who was in what room, one member of our group was given two rooms that were either occupied or dirty before getting a "made up one", notice I didn't say clean. Carpet was filty in all rooms.... more
