Three of us on a birding trip to the famous Melrose Trap, Sumner Lake and Clovis spent a night here in October. An older motel that reminded me of long-ago road trips, it was quite comfortable and clean with large rooms and quite inexpensive. Worth a stay if you're in this off the beaten track area of eastern New Mexico.
