Rather new, yet remarkably tired place. Our room had wallpaper peeling off the wall, ceiling leaks (we were on the top floor) and, rather remarkably, no smoke detector -the wires were there but no detector. Unfortunately, there is not much to choose from in Gallup. My advice -- keep driving. more

Our first experience ever staying at a Hampton Inn and we were very pleased. A newer hotel, clean, remarkably friendly staff at check-in and in the breakfast dining room. We had a king suite -- which was larger than I expected. Good experience -- will stay again when in the area. more

I am not usually a fan of Hampton Inns, but this was is very nice. Exceptionally clean, quiet, and a very nice breakfast. Staff is helpful. Close proximity to the highway and several restaurants. more

Hampton Inn continues to provide the ingredients for a good night's rest with their comfortable beds and attractive surroundings. We like the Hampton Inn chain very much and this one shares the usual good qualities - very nice beds and bed linen; good qualities towels and nice bathrooms.
