We found the Teakwood Inn to be a good value. It's important to approach it with realistic expectations for a $49.99 room, so bear the following in mind: 1) The building is under renovation, so it's far from perfect. 2) The price point is equivalent to a no-frills, economy motel. If you approach this property with these two concepts in... more

Had our hotel book at Holiday Inn Express and were we surprised when we finally found it and there were workers there and the hotel was not open. So we went across the street and a room was offered for $49.99. Seeing the beautiful lobby I thought this was too good to be true! the manager offered for us to... more

Really surprised when I red the others reviews... Certainly the have made a lot of progresses. Paid only $47 ( taxes incl ), the room is clean and furnitures are nice. Some default in the wallpaper but that don't borrow me when I want to sleep in a motel, on the road. We have tried the swimming pool, 76° F...... more

The place is dirty. Don't let them fool you with the "renovation" talk- it's just dirty. Expensive property was stolen from the room and the staff could not have cared less. The maids left the door to the room open all day. Customer service does not exist at the Teakwood, so we filed a police report for the stolen property.... more

Awful!!!! Moldy bathroom so bad we wouldn't shower and left premises asap. Peeling paint, rust everywhere in bathroom ceiling. Something chewed the whole front edge off the credenza. Vending didn't work at all. Breakfast pretty good but indigestion or something like it (thank goodness for close semi-clean rest area)makes me wonder as to hygenic-ness of preparation.Nice smile on desk clerk... more

Too many full time residents live here smoking pot with their doors open to the hall. Graffiti galore... I would not leave my Jeep out back by the railroad tracks for fear of broken windows and "tags." Room was very dirty and the sliding door would not close. We did get a welcome bag with some crappy cereal and some... more

The hotel was dirty. I had huge area in the bathroom where black mold was growing. The toilet seat was worn down to the wood (They replaced). The bed had hair in the sheets. The door keys never worked. The good things, wireless internet, breakfast, lobby. The pool looked nice, but did not use. Would not recommend staying here, unless... more

The hotel is in the middle of a major rennovation and it showed. The lobby was finished and looking beautiful, but the rooms obviously are a work in progress. The room was average...old furniture, stained carpet, ancient TV, but clean and neat. Front desk staff very helpful, they even called to make sure everything was OK. For the price it... more

We booked the Teakwood Inn while working at a large event in Las Cruces. I took my husband and young children. We wanted a hotel with an indoor pool and this hotel was resonably priced and available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and large. The pool was large and warm. The free hot breakfast was... more

Not only were we subjected to the unadvertised rate increase, (double the amount on billboards and coupon book) but the facility’s rooms were disgusting, unhealthy, dangerous and just plain atrocious!!! We videotaped and took digital pictures! Our room: The Emergency Evacuation Diagram on the door was full of graffiti. There was a soiled washcloth left by a previous occupant, behind the bathroom... more
