Beware! The place does not look like the pictures posted. We visited in March and the courtyard was dirty and filled with containers of dead flowers. We were in the casita- there was not a coffee maker, the central heat and ac did not work, the stove and fireplace did not work, two overhead lights were burned out, and it... More

Traveling from Galveston to Phoenix after a cruise we spent two nights in this great little B&B - Rosie was a fantastic hostess - breakfast was ''delious" - homemade jam was a wonderful addition - we stayed in the Master Bedroom - exceeded our expectations - could not have chosen a better place - we will be return visitors!!!!

The property is beautiful and the house has art in every room. Paintings, sculpture and a lot of colorful surroundings. Our room was large and the furnishings were wonderful. Rosie is also a very cook, so breakfasts were very enjoyable. We could walk a few blocks and enjoy the numerous shops and good eating places.

Casa de Rosie was the perfect choice for us to stay and enjoy Mesilla and the Las Cruces area. I don't know why there would be a negative review of this sweet little BnB! The hostess Rosie is really nice and super helpful. She gave us great tips on shopping, dining, and driving directions. Breakfast is good, resident dog Jasmine... More

We spent New Year's Eve at Casa de Rosie. It was beautiful, Rosie is great and the breakfast, even better. I highly recommend it. A complete bargain. Peaceful, quaint...the town of Mesilla is like towns used to be. Authentic, relaxed.

Based on my stay for a night in the separate casita at Casa de Rosie, I'm very puzzled at the favorable reviews of this B & B, which I consulted before making my reservation. I had a dismal experience and will never consider staying there again on any trips to New Mexico, an area I enjoy visiting as often as... More

If you are traveling to Las Cruces, or nearby, make reservations at Casa de Rosie! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying there for two nights and wished we had planned to stay longer! Extremely charming, immaculate home with wonderful appointments in every room! Rosie was a delight and extremely informative regarding Las Cruces, Mesilla and the surrounding... More

Spent a long weekend at Casa de Rosie, and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Breakfast was wonderful, and made by Rosie. The german pancakes were incredible with cream cheese and homemade strawberry jam. Stayed in the master bedroom and was very comfortable there. The spa tub was very enjoyable, the room was very clean and... More

THis lovely B&B was a pleasant experience. Rosie was freindly and gave good recommendations for Masilla. The room we stayed in was called the cosy room and it was clean, roomy and well appointed. The location was perfect with a five minute walk into old Masilla. The breakfast was delicious and Rosie makes homemade bread.

We stayed at Casa de Rosie’s B&B for five nights. We truly only have positive comments. Rosie is a very gracious and accommodating hostess and a wonderful cook as her delightful breakfasts attest (ask for her German pancakes or homemade bread with delicious jams and special scrambled eggs). Her courtyard is tranquil and relaxing. We spent down time there reading,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Casa de Rosie is just one mile from Highway 10 and only a half mile from Las Cruces. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in historic old Mesilla, it is located about 100 steps from the Plaza and the Basilica of San Albino. This Bed and Breakfast has the distinction of being walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Old Mesilla, while still secluded and quiet. It is close to all the great restaurants of Old Mesilla, La Posta, The Double Eagle, Andele's, the Bean, and many more. Furthermore, Casa de Rosie is situated just down the street from the Rio Grande and the "Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park" (1.5 miles to the Park). Casa de Rosie (Rosie's Home) is situated on an acre of ground with an orchard in front providing privacy and solitude for our guests. In the rear it is located right on the "Acequia", the canal that brings water from the Rio Grande. The dirt paths of the canal are perfect for those who like to run or walk for miles along the orchards and farmlands of the Mesilla Valley. Perfect for the most avid bird-watchers. Casa de Rosie is located on Calle del Norte (Highway 359) one of the few roads that cross the Rio Grande. Also, the Mesilla Bed and Breakfast is located on the major North South migratory routes of many bird species. The just opened Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is just one mile away. ... more   less
