Spent one nite while traveling at Microtel in Raton. What a pleasant surprise. Hotel appeared new, although I believe recently totally renovated. Exceptional value, good service, quick check in without filling out any paperwork, no check out necessary, good breakfast and very clean. My wife and I stopped here while passing through town on I-25. The room was reasonably sized and mostly clean. The continental breakfast was decent, except for the all-too-common, individually-wrapped muffins. more

An old favorite of ours for a business trip between Dallas and Denver twice a year. This year they have new management and have refurbished all of their bedding - new mattresses, new fluffy pillows and more. This property has a friendly staff and is well maintained. What a great find. I booked this hotel because it looked like it was convenient to the interstate. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. This is not your usual Microtel, I would stay here again if in the area. more

This motel is dishonest. We stayed in this motel and they charged us $85.00 in long distance which they assured us was free when we checked in.
