Great location. well kept and very quite. Good for romantic get away. Kinda pricey but for a special celebration---worth it. Only problem was worker in blue truck who "policed" my guests who just came to check out the place. This place doesn't like guests for those staying overnight and evidently showed it by parking the truck and watching my guests just look the place over for about 5-10 min. He doesn't know if one of my guests would be interested in the property for their future visit to Ruidoso. I thought his actions were extremly rude for the price we had to pay. Their policy does state no visitors----but 5-10 min is not inappropriate to accommodate! Give me a break!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, we were there when the Rio Ruidoso flooded the area terribly. This property suffered extreme loss to the 2 lower cabins by the river and to the landscaped yard by those cabins. . About a foot of mud and water came inside those cabins. We watched it all unfold before... more
