Stayed in KG three nights last April and sincerely regret not having stayed at least five nights.The tours in open-landrovers were superb and our ranger-Mornee - very experienced .We saw lots of animals ,from predators to birds :leopards, hippos,kudus, hyenas, warthogs ( a whole family loves to eat the flowers in the garden):you name them and you see them.
The tracker helped a lot as we left the trails very often and he could really feel the presence of animals.The sheer number of elephants and buffalos was incredible.
The rondavels were nice and cosy but less than at Madikwe Hills ( our first lodge ) and the bathrooms need some renovation as well as the mosquito-nets. Excellent food and lovely shop.I staid there with a boy of ten who loved every moment of those safari days. more
