The rooms were old but seemed pretty clean. The bathroom looked like they had been renovated in the last few years. The pillows were very flat. Strong smoke smell. Allows animals. This hotel is a mixed bag. Check in staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room seemed clean enough. Our door wouldn't lock unless we used the deadbolt from the inside - they would have been happy to move us but we didnt' bother since we were staying in and could deadbolt it. needed place to stay for the night during long road trip. Found this place. Great room, very clean place. Quiet, except for the train horn that was heard, but all the motels in Santa Rosa was close to the train track. Large parking area, especialy for RVs or trucks. Each time I'm in the eastern part of NM I stay at the Motel 6. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. They serve a continental breakfast. Juice, coffee, toast.
