Wed travel regularly from Colorado to far-south New Mexico and we usually spend a night in Taos along the way. We discovered Dona Luz several years ago and have made it our regular hotel in Taos. A simple B&B, not a super-fancy deluxe hotel. Very accommodating. Very clean. Very friendly. Constantly working to improve. Right in the heart of town.... More

Paco and his team are the best! We have never felt so at home while on vacation. La Dona Luz' location is within walking distance to all the best spots in Taos, like the town plaza and the best restaurant in town "Graham's Grille". This town is really, really small, so a short drive is all that is required to... More

We have been staying here for many years and have watched the place evolve and change. It is a delightful place to stay, typically Taos, with a great deal of history. Don't come here unless you want an unusual and different place that is not a chain motel. The rooms are all unique. One of the nicest things is that... More

We have stayed at this B&B almost a dozen times now.... Taos is one of our favorite places and I have stayed at Laughing Horse Inn and one of the local hotels. While I liked the charm of Laughing Horse its a drive to the heart of Taos. La Dona Luz has the charm and is in the heart of... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of December and had a lot of fun. We booked the 'La Luz' room because of the amazing price, and I would definitely go back there. There are a lot of stairs (made worse by the altitude!) but there's a cute little couch, coffee table, and desk, as well as a... More

Our first visit to Taos, NM, and La Dona Luz Inn was the perfect B & B to welcome us to town. The hospitality sincere, welcoming, enthusiastic, and most helpful. The Inn is cozy and the building and rooms are each a work of art in their own right - beautiful attention to detail. The location is ideal, a short... More

As seasoned travelers it is always a joy to find something amazing and wonderful - Dona Luz is such a place. This B&B is a product of love, history, and ingenious dedication to the details that make Taos special. We stayed in the Yellowbird Deer Room. The room was filled with a plethora of art and crafts from Taos history.... More

We travel as much as we can, and I cannot recommend LA DONA LUZ INN highly enough. If you want an authentic South West experience, this is the place to stay. Parts of this inn dates back to 1802 and the rest has been lovingly restored with two foot thick adobe walls, vigas, and wooden ceilings by our charming host... More

This was our first visit to Taos, and we were looking for someplace convenient to stay. Wow...did we ever find that. La Dona Luz is so centrally located in Taos that it is easy to walk wherever you want to go. We stayed in the Yellow Bird Deer Room, and it was like staying in a museum. It was so... More
