Forget the past critiqus of old management. The new manager Judy is WONDERFUL. Helpful. Pleasant. Sociable. Even fun. The "deluxe" rooms in the back are fine, even a little luxurious. Bed was fine. All for around $70. The location is very central to everything. I highly recommend this hotel. more

We came to this nice hotel without reservation, and just because it looked nice from outside. It was a positive experience. This was a delightful experience.. a small, intimate, beautiful room away from the tourist chaos. The hosts, Judy and Steve, were personable and attentive. I stayed here once and it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was dirty and the bed linens hadn't been changed. There was trash in the waste paper basket. In the rear part of the motel, we did not hear at all noise from the main road. Decoration inside was pleasant, more like a cosy (indian) winter house than a simple motel. The young guy at the reception was polite. One of our cheapest rate of 17 nights in the West. Good value. more
