It seems charming but you can hear the next rooms TV too easily. But the main thing is the temper of the owner, Charles. He will appear very nice and accomodating, yet he easily flies off the handle and starts shouting at the guests and accusing them of various things. very unpleasant, we left. more

We quickly discovered that people drive rather than walk in Taos. And this place down a quiet road at the south end of town was both a perfect oasis from the strip of 68 and exceptionally convenient to all the amenities in and around Taos. This was a great Bed and Breakfast with absolutely the best food we had on our trip. The hot tub in the back yard was a welcome retreat after a full day of sightseeing. We like to stay in independently owned hotels or B&B, and we are rarely disappointed. We spent one night here at American Artists Gallery B-n-B in Taos and it was a wonderful experience. I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a great place (and a zillion times better than a motel!).
