My brother and I were driving across country so we simply needed a convenient place to sleep and rest. This was a no-frills kind of motel but it was inexpensive and clean. Positives: 1) Near historic downtown Taos and the Taos Pueblo. These were a short driving distance from the motel. 2) Free WiFi 3) Free Parking 4) Free breakfast.... more

Following business in ABQ, I fished a couple days out of Taos. The hotel and room were clean and the staff inviting. Nothing special but certainly one of the better buys in this overpriced pretentious town. The wireless key they gave me when I called the front desk didn't work so rather than call back to troubleshoot, I used my... more

Rooms were clean, bed fairly comfortable. The walls are thin and poorly insulated so be prepared to hear the noise of slamming doors, water running and voices all the time in your room. The showers worked well and looked like they were recently renovated. The continental breakfast is minimalistic. The cleanliness was what impressed me most (otherwise I would give... more

First of all, these people LIE. When I made our reservation by phone, I asked (as I always do) if there was construction going on at the hotel. The clerk told me no, and assured me he would look out for us by finding a good room in the back. When I arrived, I saw workers doing construction right outside... more

I wrote a review on this one a few years ago, but have just had a recent stay. I believe this one is under different ownership than my previous visits. The lobby had a bit of an "odor" to it, as did the hallway going to the room. However, the room itself did not. The room was clean and comfortable... more

I'm writing this review because my friend and I were at this hotel and were VERY pleased with the service, the cleanliness, the location and the value. I never give ANYPLACE a 5 star rating, because I've been to a perfect hotel. But this Days Inn is an easy 4 star for it's price, in ratio to what you get... more

So we really wanted to check out Taos and the pueblo so we decided to stay at this hotel since Days Inns are usually nice and this hotel was affordable compared to the rest of the hotels in this city. First of all, it's an OK hotel but not worth the price. The front desk staff ignored us for about... more

Overall, I liked this place. The room was clean and in good condition. The king size bed was very comfortable. I did't hear any plumbing noise coming from the other rooms. As in any hotel, you will hear doors slamming because of inconsiderate guests. If you are going to use the free wireless internet, get a room near the office,... more

Having traveled through out the Southwest, I'm no stranger to the Taos and Santa Fe, area. There was a time when this place was a bargain, especially in "off season". Well, my little chickadees, first and foremost when driving into town, get the room first. don't wait until after 8:00pm and find a no vacancy sign. One night, I find... more

This is a GREAT place to stay after a long drive from anywhere to beautiful Taos. The staff is knowledgeable about places to eat and places to go and the rooms are well kept and CLEAN. You can't go wrong with this place. And the price ($47) works also. With that, and a free continental breakfast, you can't go wrong! more
