It is a Hampton Inn -- just like all the others. Only some of the guests were different -- more families staying here than business people, so it was louder than usual. Breakfast area needed more attention as it was swamped with people and tables needed to be cleaned off faster, but, not sure if they anticipated this or not. more

The hotel is quite on the edge of Taos, not walking distance to anything. The staff was not quite rude, but pretty close. Guests park their cars next to the sidewalks by the entrance doors, not in the parking lot. Makes it very difficult to load and unload luggage. Taos has loads of hotels.
