Met an old friend for a quiet soak in a very hot tub. The water was great and the mood very romantic. The Charles Motel is a simple place that is spacious, clean and quiet. The staff is welcoming, kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make our brief stay enjoyable. I only wish I had more time to spend in T or C and of course the Charles. I usually stay at the Blackstone or Fire Water, however, the Charles was a pleasant and affordable diversion. Unlike the Fire Water, the Charles cleans their tubs between guests and according to my host, changes the linens and towels daily. The Charles is simple compared to Fire Water and Blackstone but also much more affordable. I will be back to the Charles and Blackstone too. Both wonderful Hot Spring Fun, different from eachother, but enjoyable in their own wonderful ways. I will always have fond, fond, unforgetable memories of the Charles Motel and Spa. more
