This is a treasure in the middle of the desert. The improvements made to the grounds and facilities are wonderful. Each time we come there has been more done. The hotsprings were wonderful and the place was funky and quaint. The owner has done a great job making the place comfortable and friendly. The rates were reasonable. The private tub experience was delightful. We were able to be private and look out over the Rio Grande at the same time. I hope to become a regular at River Bend.... more

Riverbend is a gem, the only "right on the Rio Grande" motel/spa that I have ever heard of or discovered,,, it was truly a treat. The stone outdoor hot spring tubs are lovely, the only ones in town in a natural setting along the Rio Grande directly across from Turtleback Mountains, with a funky zen vibe to the lodging.
