We where traveling to Ft Worth from Las Vegas for business. The biggest thing we needed was to be able to rest. And we did. The owner went back and turned on the lights in our room before we got there, and walked us to the room. This is an older motel, but the care of the owners is obvious.... more

I wasn't sure where to stay so was crusing through Tucumcari main street and passed this place and thought, "hmmm" it has been renovated well. The owner's wife showed me around and it became clear that they had carefully renovated it, modernized where needed and that they maintain it themselves. How quaint and unusual in this day and age! Suffice... more

This was the best stay (for the money) on our cfross-country adventure so far. The owners are great and friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi service was the fastest and easiest. The retro furnishings were wonderful. The inlaid sink top and front desk area were beautiful and unique. The low price included a continental breakfast. We can't say more about the... more

It's like you pulled off the mother road abd went back 40 years in time. This place is great! The owners have done a remarkable job of renovating the property, yet preserving the historic feel. And the price CANNOT be beat! The rooms are not the Hilton, but they are very nicely done. And if you have a problem, the... more

Wow, a great roadside inn. Well run and well-maintained. While checking in, we were personally shown our room by the owner/manager (who lives on-site) I have yet to see this kind of service at a roadside inn. He went over everything in the room with us to ensure that it was adequate. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The decor was... more

My original plan was to spend the day in Tucumcari, but this motel was so inviting, I decided to give it a try. The owner showed me the room first (so CUTE!!!), was very courteous and friendly, and said he and his wife co-own the motel and live right there, too. They are still remodeling one wing. There were many... more
