“Location, location, location! For a horror film!”

Had to stop here due to snow and bad weather, got charged $60 for the night, the place is horrid! I had trouble sleeping due to constant gun like banging coming from the very old rusty heater, the bathroom was dire and the wooden slated walls made it and excellent location for shooting a horror flick! “Couldn't drive anymore and it was a good place to rest...”

The Desert Motel was a decent place to lay down and rest after driving for 12 hours in route to Taos Ski Valley, NM from San Antonio, TX. The heater was a little scary b/c it was gas and smelled as such but overall for a roadside motel in a remote and desolate area it was the safest looking motel... More
