My sister and I just returned from a safari in Botswana and Zib Camp was our first stop - from the moment we got there everything surpassed our expectations (which were already high). We had been told that Zib was the most "rustic" of the three camps we were staying at - presumably because there are zip tents as opposed to "tents" with solid wood doors, and the outdoor shower is truly outdoors, as opposed to other camps where part of the shower was uncovered or had a window? We kept saying how every little thing had been thought of....from the small supplies left on the beautiful vanity (including sherry and small glasses), to mosquito repellent, to the hot water bottles waiting in your bed at night, the tents were wonderful. We loved the zip tent as it allowed a beautiful breeze to blow through the tent, but we still felt 100% safe as the tent was raised and had a fantastic deck facing a lagoon where we could see hippoes, impala, elephants and more.
