We were there in October. Clouds were building up for rainy season. But it was very dry and the elephants were very dependent on the man made water holes at the camp. We stayed in the savuti safari lodge on our honeymoon. Absolutely loved it. Great food, great accommadation and lovely staff. Our chalet looked over a waterhole where elephants were frequent visitors. There is no heating and it's very cold in the mornings in June/July so would recommend bringing plenty of warm clothes if you're visiting at that time. more
