Our stay at Lebala camp was absolutely wonderful. The camp is in the Kwando Concession area and has its own airstrip. No person at the camp deserves less than five stars. Our guide and spotter were excellent. By chance we had a vehicle to ourselves as the other family were five, and the guarantee is no more than six per... More

We came to Lebala after excellent experiences in two other camps run by a different company (&Beyond). Lebala suffers by comparison, partly lack of imagination, perhaps a rigid rule book about how the camp should be run. We were offered no food when we arrived, very hungry, at lunch time. We were eventually brought a sandwich. Apparently guests arriving from... More

Lebala camp is located in a private concession and is reached by light aircraft. It was raining and had been for several hours. The landing was precarious due to the mud, it was like landing on sheet ice. The pilots are superb. Our driver/guide met us with the tracker. They put our bags in plastic bags to keep them dry... I struggled hard with what rating to give this camp. Ultimately, safari for us is about the wildlife, which is why I have given it 5. There is no doubt that the wildlife viewing was out of this world. We saw the wild dogs breakfasting on an impala, and more hippo and elephants than you could count, along with many... More

First and foremost this was not a bad experience rather it was disappointing. I had specifically picked this camp based on the research I had done about the quality of the safaris and to be fair these were fabulous. We spent about 8 hours a day on safari and the guide and tracker were great fun and informative about the... More

Getting up at 5.30am on your honeymoon? Madness? No, bliss. The wildlife experience was amazing; helped by our wonderful guide and tracker. We saw so many animals. All the staff in the camp were so helpful and friendly and made us feel part of the "family". They all worked so hard to make our safari experience special. The luxury tent... More

I have come back from my 11 day trip in Southern Africa, and this place was one of my favorites! We were so blessed with the animal viewing, lodge, food, people were all very nice!! So here is the breakdown of my review: Game drive: Amazing Amazing and Amazing! I think we got to see everything! Lions, Cheeta, Leopard, Hyenas,... More

We enjoyed Lebala Camp but were unlucky with wild life. Our whole time there, three nights, were spent watching a group of 4 lions with 2 cubs. The lions and cubs were beautiful and provided us with an amazing amount of up close and personal experiences. I had always wanted to see small lion cubs so Lebala made my with... More

Lebala feels like our second home. From the moment we come down the steps of the plane we are always greeted by smiling faces and an exceptionally warm welcome. Guides, trackers, housekeeping and catering staff, offer the highest standards in all that they do. Paul and DT are great 'restaurant' staff and their service is excellent. The absolute desire to... We spent a week divided among three of the Kwando camps (Lagoon, Little Kwara, Lebala) and Lebala was by far our least favorite. Saw no predators at all and no large herds of elephants, cape buffalo, or much else for that matter. Sugar was our guide and he was ok, but not nearly of the standard that we had in... More
