Flooded plains, exotic animals and bush camping - what more could you ask for? Botswana is expensive compared with other African countries but cheaper options are available. I spent four nights at 'Oddballs' in September 2008 costing around US$1200. This included return flights from Maun, two nights at Oddballs in basic tents, all meals, two nights bush camping and a... more

If you want to really experience the Delta, then Oddballs is the perfect choice. The accommodations are simple, but that is what the environment calls for. We didn't want or need a butler or a plunge pool. You can go anywhere and "see" the animals, but if you want to hear the sounds of lions roaring at night, smell the... more

Oddballs was recommended by Island Safari who we booked our trip through on the internet. Oddballs is a small permanent tented site that you reach by light plane from Maun or Kasane. It was a magical experience! There are no cars. All safaris are on foot or by mokoro (local dug out canoes). There is nothing more peaceful than floating... more

We booked a six day trip through DumelaBotswana and it all worked fine. The first 3 days were at OddballsCamp in the Okavango Delta, and the last 3 in Kubu Lodge on the Chobe River. It cost us $3,000 all up for the 2 of us, from including flights Maun -> Delta and Delta -> Kasane and road travel Kasane... more

We booked out journey to Oddballs Camp via Island Safaris and got great service from them. We always got a prompt respond from them via email to our questions which were replied detailed and patient. We have to admit that we have been a little bit concerned to book our journey to Botswana with an african internet-company but the service... more

Had A great time at Oddballs Camp. The flight over the delta to Chiefs Island was part of the experience. Went with dumelabotswana and everybody told us that going to a fly in lodge is all luxury, and way out of our pricerange. Oddballs and dumelabotswana gave us a camping and mokoro experience that was well worth the trip. more
