We were on holiday in New York for two weeks and wanted to see the Dia: Beacon Gallery. We could have made a day trip from the city, but decided instead to have a more leisurely outing and stayed overnight at the Swann Inn. There was absolutely nothing to complain about – the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was... More

I visited at the end of february and if you are looking for a casual bed and breakfast with a victorian feel then this is for you. Great breakfast and hospitality and housekeeping. Even better if you go in the spring or summer because they are on Beacon Mountain and it should be very bucolic at that time of year.

We spent Valentines Day at the Inn and absolutely loved our stay. From the time we were greeted warmly at the door by the Inn keeper Neil to our checkout we were made to feel like it was our home away from home. Breakfast was fantastic and Neil even drove us in to town so we could check out the... More

My stay here was very pleasant and I will definitely returning, in fact I just booked to stay here again in the spring. The Swann Inn of Beacon is cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed at, this was my first stay at a B&B. The rooms were comfy, and the B&B is filled so many small touches that make... More

Cozy, lovely property. If coming to beacon again for an overnight we would definitely stay again. We had a nice retreat from the city and felt many miles away. The owners really made sure we were left satiated and happy. I didn't see the other rooms but the red parlor room was really warm and spacious. Having a fireplace made... More

The Swan Inn is everything a bed & breakfast should be, charming, quaint, with outstanding service. The owners were so nice, they went out of there way to pick-us up and drop us off at the train station. Breakfast was delicious! The location is great, you can walk into town, and there's a beautiful hiking trail up a mountain down... More

We stayed here while visiting Watchtower facilities in Patterson, NY. Great location, beautiful scenery. The town had great places to eat and lots of interesting shops. Our hosts went the extra mile for us. My husband found that his pants had come apart at the side seam, Darlene sowed them up in a jiffy, and we were on our way.... More

We spent a delightful weekend in the Hudson Valley, and the highlight was our stay at the Swann Inn in Beacon, New York. It is conveniently located to points of interest in the area including West Point, Hyde Park, Bannerman's Island, as well as the galleries and antique shops of Beacon. Each room is cozily decorated with clean and extremely... More

Wonderfully restored old home. Innkeepers Neil and Darlene are gracious and accommodating in every way. This location serves well as a starting point to visit Dia Beacon and points of interest south and north, including Cold Spring, garrison, Hyde Park and Rhinebeck. And sumptuous breakfasts included!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a quick, local overnight get away and chose the Swann Inn. It was fabulous! The rooms are well appointed and artfully decorated. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. The surroundings were quiet with a large and inviting front porch to just sit for awhile , if you choose to do so.... More
