It wasn't the worst I've seen, but we weren't very happy with our room. The hall was dingy and smelled funny; in the bathroom, the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet! also, there was hair in the sink when we arrived; the king sized bed had only 3 pillows and seemed to slant toward the back, so we ended... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night on our way to Cooperstown, NY. We chose it because it's very conveniently located right off of route 81 with lots of restaurants nearby. We arrived around 6pm and check-in was super fast. We had no problems with our room that night, but the next morning when I was showering, the... more

Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Not a place for home base during a vacation (does anyone vacation to Binghamton?), but just fine if passing through. more

I was on my way home from upstate NY and didn't want to drive any more. Checked with the Room Saver catalog and found a $55 coupon for this hotel. When I checked in, since I'm a woman traveling alone, I asked for a room close to the front office and was given one very conveniently located. The hotel is... more

I stayed here one night. The one thing I required was an internet connection. The management assured me that they had it in every room--every room but not mine (also not in the lobby. When I called, all they said was, "Well, we have it on our computer." In the morning, they ran out of coffee, fruit and cups. They... more

OK for an overnight stay. Right off the interstate. It was clean, but I always bring Lysol with me anyway and just spray the place down. more

I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Binghamton, NY and was pleased with my stay. I thought it was a good value compared to the other hotels in the area. This is an older property, but my room was clean and the bedding was new and comfortable. The room had a small refrigerator. The hotel staff was helpful with... more

Coming home from spending Thanksgiving in Vermont, we decided to stop at Binghamton, NY, for the night since it was dark and raining. We drove around for nearly an hour, asking a couple of times where some motels were. Then we saw the Econo Lodge sign and pulled in. The price was good and the room quite comfortable. But what... more

This hotel was right off the interstate. It was old and tired, but the lobby area was fairly decent. We dealt directly with the manager at the front desk and were not impressed at all. She was very unfriendly and when we found ourselves short one penny while paying, she stood silently waiting. Another guest came to our aid, but... more

This motor lodge has had many identities over the years. It must have been very nice in the 1960's when it was new but simply put, its day has come and gone. Linen was old, carpet was old and there was urine in the toilet when we checked in. more
