We stayed one night in the Garden View Room while visiting St. Lawrence University. It was off the main road and very quiet with horses in the back corral. There are not a lot of choices for lodging if you are visiting the Potsdam-Canton area of colleges. If it's a week where something is going on, the Best Western University is usually sold out. A great alternative is White Pillars. We stayed in the Garden View Room which had a double and a single at a very reasonable rate.... more
