We stayed at the General's Mansion in Cape Vincent NY for three nights in June. It is a wonderful place to relax. The house is about 100 years old, beautifully maintained with a number of interesting rooms. You have complete run of the house. The hosts, Dan and Joan are the most hospitable owners we have encountered in our B&B travels. Breakfast can be almost whatever you want, and they make bread that is fantastic. Cape Vincent is a small town, located at the end of the ferry line from Kingston Ontario. It is on the St. Lawrence river, and is very quiet. If you want to relax in a quiet location, Cape Vincent is a great place to be. more
