We stayed here for a weekend visit to the hall of fame and it worked out great. The hotel is only a few years old so the furnishings in the guestrooms all are in new condition. Internet works well although it is wired, not wireless. The hot breakfast items were not appealing but the yogurt, cereal, fruit and toast &... more

If you are thinking about staying at this hotel while your son plays at the Cooperstown Dreams Park, don't bother. They have a very nice lounge area with a nice big screen TV above the fireplace. Nice size room for the families to congrate in. However, at 10pm, the troll at the front desk starts setting up the barracades and... more

I just returned from an overnight stay in Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Ommegang Brewery. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is several miles outside of town. The rooms are nicely sized and decorated. There is breakfast in the great room in the morning where... more

This property is very nice and well kept and close to the Baseball Hall of Fame. The guestrooms are spacious and clean and that staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was great. A little bit crowded in the breakfast room, but the food was good and the server was gracious. The only thing I... more

This is a very clean and modern property about 4 miles from the Baseball Hall of Fame and the center of town. Small but cozy lobby/breakfast area with dark wood details, a large fireplace and big screen tv. We booked a Junior Suite which was perfect for our family -- two double beds plus a pull out couch/sitting area, spacious,... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express this past Friday night on the way to a college visit; we didn't get in until after midnight and left early the next morning, but our room was totally sufficient for a good night's rest. The front desk was staffed on our arrival and we had a "quiet room" on the (top) second... more

Nice, clean hotel with free continental breakfast a few miles from Baseball Hall of Fame. Requested a crib for my son and it was ready in room. Great choice when visiting Cooperstown! more

We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express on Labor day. Was surprised it was 4-5 miles out of town (didn't expect it to be that far out.) Front desk and cleaning staff pleasant and helpful. We had problems with our toilet twice and they came right away. Standard queen bed room was fine. End room turned out not... more

Expensive, but then everything in the area is expensive. Clean room and bathroom. Great bathroom layout - the shower curtain was even on a curved rod so it did not touch you while showering. Breakfast was good - my husband loved the bacon. I appreciated having a healthy breakfast of non-fat yogurt, hard boiled egg whites, ripe banana and plain... more

In the past I have put this chain in the category of Red Roof Inn, Motel 6 etc.. Well this is a nice hotel if you want a nice bed, hot shower nice free breakfast options then stay here. I was worried about the baseball player factor with kids running around at night but never heard a noise after 9... more
