I'm a HUGE baseball fan and have always wanted to visit Cooperstown NY, so this was the year to do something other than going to the beach or Disney World. We went to Niagara Falls for a few days and went straight acrossed NY to Cooperstown for another couple days of rest and relaxation. My husband and I looked on... more

Linda and John are Excellent innkeepers. John makes eggs any way you like it and Linda is a fantastic baker. I have a sweet tooth so I was on cloud nine.At the end of our stay Linda gave us an assortment of cakes to take home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the other guests were very friendly. The inn... more

Adorable little bed and breakfast not far from the main street and the Hall of Fame, but a little bit of walking is required (about 10 minutes). The food is great, you are welcome to help yourself day and night to any cold drinks from the fridge and goodies which are being baked almost contantly by Linda. John makes great... more

The claim that staying at the Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast is "like living in a bakery" is by no means an exaggeration! In fact, it's even better than most bakeries we've experienced---no stale, end-of-the-day croissants or hard-as-a-rock cookies here. We truly couldn't believe how Linda managed to keep so many delicious baked goods constantly coming. And we're not just talking... more

The Smirks, proprietors of the B & B, were the perfect hosts--- friendly, but not intrusive, and provided an excellent breakfast of french toast, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruits, scones, etc. They constantly had freshly baked items available to guests such as brownies, chocolate chip cookies, coffee cake, trail mix, scones, etc. as well as iced tea, lemon ade... more

John & Linda are extremely friendly hosts. They made our stay perfect. The breakfast is definitely a highlight, and the rooms are exactly as described on their website. My wife and I brought our 3 children, and they absolutely loved staying at John & Linda's. This is a great place for families, but is also quiet enough for a couple... more

If you want to see the Baseball Hall of Fame and researching a place to stay, stop looking. The Cooperstown B and B, run by John and Linda Smirk is the ultimate stay in Cooperstown!!!! My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed here for 2 nights. We booked room #2 because it had 2 twin beds for the kids and a queen for us. We had our own bathroom and the room was very clean, warm, and comfortable. Linda and John are the innkeepers and they were great people. Very friendly and inviting.... more
