We stayed three nights and enjoyed everything about it. The rooms were charming, clean, spacious, and quiet. I was surprised that I didn't hear any other guests coming or going. The B&B is located across the street from the lake and is close to downtown. Our hosts were both generous and kind, and I would stay here again on our... More

This is the 1st time staying at a B&B and my husband and I were hesitant. This was a lucky draw as it is peaceful, beautiful and Penny knows how to make a great breakfast! There also teas, coffees and biscottis always available to you. Perfect walking distance to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Nicoletta's Restaurant...another five star! Looking... More

The proprietor makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. The house is cozy and warm with a delightful porch to relax on warm summer days. The location is a short walk to the golf course, downtown and lake. One can find great restaurants without having to drive. You are pampered during your visit with any needs taken... More

My family and I have been to Nelson Ave Pines several times over the past 12 years and it has never disappointed us yet. For years while my boys experienced the Cooperstown Dreams park my family and I took over the third floor suite which we have always found to be clean and comfortable for all five of us. Breakfast... Rob, even though seemed nice when we got there, when we checked out he was more then rude. The bill didn't match the estimate and he got aggravated when I tried to explain. Didn't ask us how our stay was or that we should have a safe drive home. We didn't make it to breakfast either day because we were... More

We have gone to Cooperstown for the Glimmerglasas Opera and a taste of baseball for the last thirteen years. The last eight of these years have seen us at the Pines of Nelson Avenue. Our repeated vists to the Pines should say it all. This is a wonderful, relaxing bed and breakfast. The location is superb-- walking distance to the... More

Recently my wife and I stayed at this very nice b&b run by Ms. Gentile and her son Rob. Our rooms were large and clean and the breakfasts were delicious. It is conveniently located to all of the village attractions including the Hall of Fame, the golf course and the Otesage Hotel. We would stay again.

My family arrived at Nelson Avenue Pines after a long trip from Philadelphia. When we arrived, it felt like we were "home." What a nice feeling. The home is a beautiful Victorian house located blocks from the Baseball Hall of Fame, but it is nestled back off the street, and you have the feeling that you are in the country.... More

We have stayed at the Nelson Avenue Pines for many years, and our most recent experience two weeks ago matched the wonderful quality of our past visits. As always, our room was in immaculate condition, spacious, attractive; and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts as before were pleasurable, and we always look forward to the terrific French eggs – cooked... More
